FT.com - The Bank of England is almost certain to raise interest rates next month, economists said, after official figures showed the economy continued to expand briskly in the first three months of the year. Gross domestic product grew by 0.7 per cent in the first quarter, compared with the previous three months, according to the Office for National Statistics .
