Investor's Business Daily - Its Weekly Leading Index rose to 140.4 in the week ended April 13 from 140.3 the prior week. Lower jobless claims and rising stock prices helped, but higher interest rates offset some gains, the Economic Cycle Research Institute said. Its annualized growth rate, based on a four-week average, was unchanged at 3.6% for a 3rd straight week.
