Pain or discomfort in the ear, indicated by touching or pulling at the
ear in a younger child.
Pain while lying down, chewing or sucking, which may lead to reduced
appetite or difficulty sleeping.
Fluid draining from the ear.
Difficulty hearing.
Fever, dizziness, nausea, or vomiting.
